about

Born in Canoas, in the metropolitan area of Porto Alegre (BR), Marcelulose has already lauched by local labels ZonaExp and Raio X.

The album comes from the experience in the roads of the metropolitan region: observing the quasi-random geometry of the city, listening to the urban noises. The tracks have an organic face, closer to the streets -- the "quebradas". They unite elements of both industrial sonority, like electro, and Brazilian musical harmony, represented by the dissonant chords.

Using classic sequencers timbres, such as the ones from the TR808 and the TB303, as well as modular synthesizers emulated and programmed on the computer, Marcelulose creates a more analogical flow in the human-machine relationship.
