The Ressonância EP describes the astral-hypnagogic immersion that allows lo-fi to be comforting and deep without losing the power and weight that our bodies need to really let go. Various artists of the genre thrive to expand and deepen the emotions from house and its various genres/vibes through dense distortion and textures, aiming more for involvement than distraction, evoking the elements that made House a feeling on itself. Those sounds talk about the intensity that the ressignification of these energies, those from the origin of the sound in the eighties, could represent to our livelihoods today when we are in so much need of the hope and love that this sound propagated in its time, through its various forms.
The six tracks were written in intense sessions through march and april of 2019 and use these contexts to propose modern house and breakbeats with loads of ambience, atmosphere, punch and hypnotic textures. Resonating with similar sounds which thrive to be an euphoric and cathartic dancing scream of mature melancholy, with the certainty that better days are still to come, be it ever so far away. Music to replenish energies and to be dived into.
